Strawberry Smoothie

When it comes to making your own smoothie you can get creative and make many variations. This smoothie is just pure strawberry flavor for those who just love strawberries.

Strawberries are rich in the essential nutrients vitamin C, potassium, folic acid, and fiber. These  juicy hearts-shaped delights have much more to offer beyond sweetness and flavor. I consider them a power food.

 

Ingredients

 8-10 strawberries fresh or frozen

 

1/2 cup skim milk/ full fat as per your choice

1/2 cup plain yogurt/ strawberry floured yogurt

 

3 tablespoons white sugar

6 cubes ice, crushed (optional)

Instructions

Place your ingredients in the blender and start blending on low speed and then gradually increase speed until all the ingredients are smoothadd milk if required and make it smooth till your desired consistency. Add another 30-60 seconds to add air, which makes the smoothie lighter.  This smoothie is tastes great enjoy it with family kids and friends.
