Vegetable Soute

Ingredients

Broccoli

4-5 Baby potatoes / Medium size Potato

2 Carrot

 6-8 Brussel Sprout

5-6 Cherry Tomatoes

Crushed Garlic

Butter

oregano (dry)

Directions

Chop chosen vegetable to desired size or leave them whole.

Bring a pot of water to boil that will comfortably fit the amount of vegetables you want to cook.

Set that bowl of cold water next to your pot of boiling water and put your large mesh strainer in the bowl.

Bring the water to boil and add salt and add seasoning.

Now Add the veggies to boiling water except cherry tomatoes .

When the veggies are 60% cooked( it should not be mushy)use a stainless steel strainer to scoop the veggies out. now place them in cold water bowl. 

Strain the veggies after a min and place the strainer back in bowl so that the rest of water can drain from the veggies.

Now heat up your saute or frying pan over medium-high heat. Add Butter o the heated pan. Put the garlic and let it sizzle for a few seconds.

Add your vegetables-along with cherry tomatoes and toss them in the heat with a wooden spoon or tongs. Cook vegetables until they reach desired bite so that when you bite into it, it has a subtle satisfying crunch.

Season with salt and pepper and add any other flavorings you want.

serve and enjoy as a side dish with some chicken or any meat.
